Team

Yolanda do Campo. Founder and Managing Principal 

Yolanda is the founder and Managing Principal of Qi Habitats with experience as a real estate professional and award-wining architect working globally with top performing companies leading real estate projects from concept to completion. Successful track record developing profitable branded high-end residential and luxury commercial real estate by adding value to the built environment through innovative design.

Yolanda worked  from 2011 to 2018 as a Senior Architect for OMA/Rem Koolhaas managing several projects including 122E 22nd street a 67 unit residential development in New York City.  Before joining OMA she was Design Director for yoo/ Philippe Starck, established the yoo Studio in New York, launched two residential brands and successfully completed several buildings in North America with a total of 2,500 residential branded units.

Previously she worked as a design architect for several high end retail brands including Carolina Herrera and Estee Lauder Companies (Mac Cosmetics) on a variety of international retail projects including store design, branding and visual merchandising.

Yolanda’s focus on real estate and architecture has been complemented through her career with her interest in research, academics and the use of computer technology for design. She produced innovative computer generated schemes while working in competitions for leading architects Peter Eisenman and McDonald/Kolatan and also as an Instructor at the New York Institute of Technology and Columbia University.

She is a graduate of Columbia University where she earned two Master Degrees in Advanced Architectural Design and Architecture and Urban Design.
